Dr Kathryn Griffith joins the National CKD Audit Team
We are delighted to announce that Dr Kathryn Griffith has joined the National CKD Audit Team as Chair of our Project Board.
As the RCGP’s Clinical Champion for Chronic Kidney Disease, Kathryn has responsibility for raising the profile and awareness of CKD within general practice and across primary care. Kathryn works in partnership with key decision-makers in CKD, and on projects that seek to improve the care provided and patient outcomes. She is also a primary care representative on the renal advisory group at the Department of Health, and the only GP on the NICE panel for the update of chronic kidney disease guidelines.
Kathryn’s wealth of experience will enable us to successfully drive the audit forward whilst raising the awareness of CKD in primary care and we are greatly looking forward to working with her on this exciting and important National audit.
