CKD Audit Year 1 Report

The National Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Audit is a 3 year project which runs from January 2014 to December 2016.  The pilot phase has now been completed and the year 1 (2014) report has been published.

The pilot tested the technology which proved viable and robust and valuable feedback was gathered on improving and streamlining the Quality Improvement tool.

The project’s key objectives for the next quarter, prior to the launch of the main audit, are:

  1. Completing development of the ‘free’ interfaces with the principle clinical system providers to enable the clinical data to be accessed free of charge in non Informatica practices.
  2. Finalising and implementing the communications and stakeholder engagement plan in order that we can maximise the participation in the National CKD Audit.
  3. Analyse data from the pilot practices to produce the pilot report.
